Looking for a place to stay cool this summer?  Check out the Edina Water Park officially known as the Edina Aquatic Center.  The address for the Edina Aquatic Center is 4300 W 66th St, Edina MN 55435.  The phone number is 612-928-4590 in season and 952-826-0431 off season.  You can email the Edina Aquatic Center at edinamail@ci.edina.mn.us What does this Edina Water Park offer?  How about tube riding, a water playground and a water slide tower.  The Olympic size pool is great for swimmers of all ages with an easy step in entry, three and one meter diving boards and plenty of lanes for lap swimmers.  Aside from being a great place to get wet and swim, the Edina aquatic center is truly more like a water park in that you can relax on lounge chairs, and get refreshed at the concession area.  The water park season runs from June 11 to August 28.  You can choose to pay admission fees on a per visit basis or get a season pass to allow you and your family to visit all summer long.

Edina FlowRider Coming 2012

In the summer of 2011 the Edina city council approved the purchase of a FlowRider to make a surf park addition to the Edina Aquatic Center.  The FlowRider will be paid for with saved proceeds from past years.  The addition of the FlowRider to the water park will make the Edina FlowRider the second in the State of Minnesota.  The addition of the FlowRider to the Edina pool should allow teens and adults to continue enjoying the Edina Aquatic Center once they've outgrown the pirate ship and water playground.
